Asian art

In recent years, many records have been achieved for Asian art objects, due to the growing interest of new generations of Chinese collectors for their lost heritage. Paris is an important place for them because important collections of Asian art were formed in France at the mercy of trade and travel. The interest of Chinese collectors has no limit when they are allowed to discover a rare object, having a documented source, and in good condition. Specialists from the Asian Arts Department sell a wide variety of works such as ceramics, jades, ivory, rhinoceros horns, furniture, bronzes, sculptures, paintings and watches. the Neolithic period until the Republic of the early 20th century. The Asian Arts Department organizes two auctions per year during each of the Parisian "Asian weeks" in June and December
