PAUL-VALLEE S149 - Lot 57
PAUL-VALLEE S149 To restart CGF No key PAUL-VALLEE productions, marketed by the SICRAF of Aubervilliers (Industrial Construction and Automotive Research Company of France) will be known above all through delivery scooters. The first scooter was presented at the 1949 Paris Motor Show, with the 1953 Motor Show ending. The model presented is part of the 1950 S.149, the first Lambretta-inspired version. Chrome and solid tube frame. Cast alloy parts. Sliding rear suspension while the front is mono-telescopic with load-bearing front mudguard. The engine is a 125cc Aubier-Dunne AL 3-speed manufactured in Saint-Amand-les-Eaux (Nord). The brakes are special because the shoes are smooth and it is the drum that carries the linings. The crest with its tricolor rooster recalls the origins of Paul Vallée, then director of the Ecurie de France, famous for its success in the automobile.
