1965 Triumph TR4A - Lot 2
1965 Triumph TR4A
British road registration cleared: 846A
Serial number: CT/58855-L
- Michelotti design, "so British" charm
The model offered for sale dates back to 1965, and today features a red-black interior configuration, topped with a black roof, in place of its original black-red interior combination. This livery gives the car a more dynamic character, while remaining faithful to the elegance of the original models. Mounted on 60-spoke wheels, it retains the aesthetic and technical attributes so dear to the brand's fans. In terms of equipment, it benefits from period heating and a spare wheel. A lightweight polyester fender kit has been fitted to the car.
The car is accompanied by invoices, including replacement of the fuel pipes in the engine compartment, the gearbox and the water pump. As the car has not been driven much recently, it will need to be serviced before any journey. It should be noted that an old repair to the rocker panels was carried out, but needs to be carried out again in accordance with good practice. There is also some play in the steering. These points are noted on the inspection report, as part of the return visit.
