The Goliath GD 750 is an emblematic utility three-wheeler from the immediate post-war period. Capable of carrying a payload of 750 kg - hence its name - it is powered by a water-cooled 396 cm³ two-stroke twin-cylinder engine, mounted at the front behind the steering wheel. This engine develops 13 hp, for a top speed of around 55 km/h. Transmission is to the rear wheels via a four-speed gearbox, an architecture that sets it apart from competing front-wheel-drive models such as the Tempo. An optional 494 cm³ engine developing 16 hp was offered to provide additional torque. Unlike the pre-war F200 and F400 models, the GD 750 received an engine designed by Goliath and developed by the INKA engineering office.
The model offered for sale was first registered in October 1951 and spent a large part of its life in the Drôme. The chassis has been sandblasted and repainted, the body redone, and the upholstery and woodwork are in good condition. The engine was completely dismantled and overhauled during the restoration.
This vehicle, rare on our roads, offers a singular silhouette and a utilitarian approach typical of its era. It will be necessary to put it back on the road in order to enjoy this charming period scooter once again.

The Goliath GD 750 is an iconic post-war three-wheeler light commercial vehicle, designed to carry a 750 kg payload - hence its name. It is powered by a 396 cc two-stroke, water-cooled twin-cylinder engine mounted behind the single front wheel, producing 13 hp and allowing a top speed of around 55 km/h. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual gearbox, setting it apart from front-wheel-drive competitors such as the Tempo. An optional 494 cc engine developing 16 hp was also available, offering increased torque though no additional top speed. Unlike the pre-war F200 and F400, the GD 750 was fitted with an in-house Goliath engine developed by the INKA engineering office.
First registered in October 1951, this particular example spent most of its life in the Drôme region of France before undergoing a full restoration. The chassis was stripped, sandblasted, and repainted; the wooden cargo bed was rebuilt; and the interior woodwork and upholstery remain in good condition. The engine was completely disassembled and overhauled during the restoration.
This rare and distinctive utility vehicle embodies the ingenuity of its era. A standard mechanical recommissioning will be required before returning it to the road.
