To be re-started
This motorcycle was originally registered in Germany. It crossed the German-Swiss border on January 12, 1956, and entered Swiss customs in Geneva (Gare Cornavin), accompanied by a certificate of acquittal and an export passport for motor vehicles issued by the Swiss Customs Administration.
The first Swiss owner, based in Geneva, used the car in its black, chrome and grey road configuration, before converting it into an off-road version. It was then declared to French customs at Prévessin (Ain), with an estimated value of 100 FS or 300 FF, and sold to a second French owner, who put it back in a chicken coop.
On February 10, 1979, Pierre bought it second-hand, in deplorable condition: chicken droppings had eaten away the rims and invaded the whole machine. It was then stored in the attic until he decided to fully restore it, between January 2012 and January 2013. A total of €4,144 of material was invested, each part being machined one by one.
Transformed into a racing version, the bike made its debut at Malaucène in April 2013, during the Montée Historique du Mont Ventoux, and competed brilliantly in the Montées Historiques until 2022.
On display in its private museum, the bike has been stationary for a few years.
It needs to be put back on the road.
