A set of memorabilia from Sergeant Robert of the 21st Line Infantry Regiment comprising: -A silver and enamel miniature of a knight of the 4th type. Ribbon. As is. -Presented under glass with his letter of appointment dated 13 July 1807 (Königsberg) and signed by Marshal Berthier announcing his appointment by decree of 7 July. 26 x 21 cm. Wooden frame with two other memorabilia: - Lead ball, screw mounted. -First Empire period officer's cockade, embroidered with silver, red and blue thread. Diam : 80 mm. A.B.E. First Empire period. Family provenance. Biography : Eustache Robert (1775-1838), sergeant in the 4th battalion of the 21st line infantry regiment. Entered the service in the Basses Alpes battalion in 1792. Retired in 1808.
