Monsieur X is a passionate, curious, and highly modern man with a unique perspective on the photographic world. His collection begins with his encounter with Raymond Hains and Lucien Clergue, who quickly directed him toward a fresh approach to traditional photography. Through various galleries, he has made radical turns, forming an eclectic collection. As a knowledgeable collector, Monsieur X has assembled a group of contemporary photographs spanning a wide range of 20th-century genres.

Guy Bourdin - Vogue, Paris (Red Nails). Circa 1970. Later C-print color print.
Andy Warhol - Woven Textile With Lion. Circa 1976-1986. Six period silver gelatin prints stitched with white thread, framed.
Vik Muniz - Mona Lisa after Leonardo da Vinci from Gordian Puzzle. Circa 2009. Framed C-print color print under glass.
Philip-Lorca diCorcia - Tropic Cinema (Key West, Florida, USA). Circa 1990-2000s. Chromogenic print mounted on board with hangers.
