1992 ALPINE A610 MAGNY COURS - Lot 81
1992 ALPINE A610 MAGNY COURS Chassis: VF1D5030500085614 French vehicle registration certificate • Magny-Cours No. 15, part of a series of 31 units • In the same family since new • Appraisals from 2003 and 2022 • Approximately €5,000 in repair bills in 2022 and 2023 Unveiled in Geneva in 1991, the A610 continues the lineage of rear-engine V6 Alpines. Redesigned compared to the GTA, it features pop-up headlights and a 3.0-liter PRV engine with a Garrett T3 turbocharger, producing 250 ch and capable of a top speed exceeding 265 km/h. Launched in June 1992 to celebrate the French Grand Prix at Magny-Cours and the successes of the Williams-Renault FW14B, the Magny-Cours series was limited to 31 units. It stands out for its 596 Pearl Green paint, which extends to the wheel spokes, its monograms, its black leather with green piping, its CD player, and its numbered plaque. This example bears the number 15. Presented as having been in the same family since new and purchased new in 1993, it was, according to the family, registered by the dealership and kept for one year before being sold. The service record and old invoices were lost during floods in 2021. Two appraisals from 2003 and 2022 are presented as evidence of its continuous ownership history. A mechanical overhaul was performed by Garage Jean Rédélé in 2022 and 2023; two invoices total approximately €5,000. This limited-production series, rarely seen on the market, combines a distinctive appearance, long-term family ownership, and documented maintenance by a historic specialist in the brand. Its next owner will be able to continue its story.   1992 Alpine A610 Magny Cours Chassis: VF1D5030500085614 French registration document • Magny-Cours No. 15, part of a series of 31 cars • In the same family since new • Appraisals from 2003 and 2022 • Approximately €5,000 in invoices from 2022 and 2023 Introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 1991, the A610 continued Alpine’s line of rear-engined V6 models.
