Christophe WOLFF (1720 - August 6, 1795), received master on December 10, 1755. A wood veneered ABATTANT SECRETARY with allegories of the arts, sciences and letters, richly decorated with stained wood inlays of flowers, vases, books, desk, checkerboard floor, antique vases and bouquets of flowers. It opens with a flap trimmed with red leather gilded with scrolls, revealing four niches and six drawers surmounting two leaves. The uprights are canted with simulated fluting. Stamped Louis XVI period Grey veined marble top Ornamentation of chased and gilded bronzes such as fleurons, foliate falls and foliate escutcheons.
