Gilt bronze episcopal candlestick with palmette decoration. The handle bears the coat of arms, probably of Monseigneur Louis-Eugène REGNAULT, titular bishop of Euménie on March 15, 1852, and bishop of Chartres on January 1, 1853. On claw feet. Early 19th century Height: 92.5 cm; Length: 39.2 cm (wear, restorations) Note. The coat of arms of Monseigneur Louis-Eugène REGNAULT (1800-1889) was azure with the monogram of the Virgin Mary argent, surmounted by an antique cross or, adextré of a vine branch argent, fruité of the same, and senesced of a wheat stalk or, the extremities in saltire.
