PETIT POINT CARPET 1st part of the 20th century, France. Wool on cotton canvas. Needlepoint. Decor in the taste of the 17th and 18th centuries. Mosaic pattern of pinkish-beige honeycomb caissons inlaid with polychrome bouquets of stylized flowers and foliage, surrounded by geometrically stylized polychrome star-shaped flower compositions. 403 x 269 cm. (Good condition, braided carpet).
