Please note.
Claude Galle's hunting horn sconces are among the most elegant creations of French neoclassical décor. Designed for the Petit Trianon, in the grounds of the Château de Versailles, they perfectly illustrate the refinement and delicacy of late XVIIIᵉ century taste.
These wall sconces, in finely chased and gilded bronze, adopt the stylized form of a hunting horn, an aristocratic symbol linked to the pleasures of nature and royal entertainments. The design, both sober and harmonious, is fully in keeping with the Louis XVI aesthetic, characterized by balanced lines and antique inspiration.
