Etienne TAVERNIER (1756 -1839) Chased and gilded bronze beehive clock with rich decoration of doves, quivers and winged women. Enameled dial with Roman numerals for the hours and signed "Etne. Tavernier". It is surmounted by a seated woman draped in the Antique style and a love figure. The rectangular base is adorned with Antique-style bowls, rosebushes and a putti gathering roses near beehives. On claw feet holding spheres. Restoration period. Height: 44 cm; Width: 33.5 cm; Depth: 12 cm (wear, movement thread to be changed)
