Naples, September 30, 1814. Brevet de lieutenant porte-étendard octroyé à Louis Sellès (ou Selliès), lieutenant in the 2nd regiment of foot Velites, veteran of the French armies since 1794, transferred to the army of Naples in 1806: he took part in the siege of Gaète, and in the campaigns of Calabria (one p. in-folio printed with handwritten additions, on parchment, large copper-engraved header with Joachim Murat's coat of arms, armorial wax seal under Joachim Murat's paper). - Apostille signed with his initials (s.l., December 1814, one word) on a piece addressed to him, in Italian, signed by the Minister of War and Navy Francesco MACDONALD (Naples, December 8, 1814, one p. 1/2 in-folio). Francesco Macdonald requests that the Minister of the Interior repair the road from Fort Sant'Elmo near Naples, to the place known as Cacciotoli on the Vomero hill, through which artillery, war material, supplies and troops pass.
