1969 Alfa Romeo 1750 GTVeloce - Lot 54
1969 Alfa Romeo 1750 GTVeloce French registration Serial number: 1368039 - Same owner for 33 years - Iconic design by Guigiaro - Desirable first series The Alfa Romeo Giulia GT went into production in 1963 as a replacement for the Giulietta Sprint, with a number of technical modifications. Aesthetically, it was given a new front end with four headlamps. A few years later, the GT Veloce 1750 was introduced. Its 1750 cm3 engine, straight out of the Berlina, enabled it to reach speeds of 190 km/h. This version is considered by many to be the most accomplished of the "Bertone Coupes", with its clean, classically styled dashboard and an engine that's always ready to rev. The car offered for sale was acquired by its current owner in 1993 from a professional in Seine Maritime. It is in fair used condition. An invoice file has been supplied. The most recent maintenance was carried out in December 2025. An oil change was carried out, the cylinder head gasket was replaced, as were the four tires. In January 2021, extensive work was carried out, including carburetor adjustment, replacement of the starter, clutch kit, intake components, radiator and brake booster. A file of parts invoices is available on request. However, the technical inspection carried out in February 2026 indicates that a plate on the front crossmember is corroded. This defect will have to be reviewed to obtain a valid inspection. A direct descendant of Giorgetto Giugiaro's masterly design for Carrozzeria Bertone, the Alfa Romeo 1750 GT Veloce is a masterpiece of the 105 line, sought after for its stylistic purity, versatility and potential. The description of the vehicle is based on information provided by the seller, who remains solely responsible for the condition of the property.
