Antoine-Marie SCHMIDT, Maître à Paris, February 4, 1784 A flared chest of drawers with a central projection in veneered wood, richly inlaid in reserves with musical trophies and interlaced flowers. It opens with two drawers. The uprights are canted on curved legs. Stamped by the cabinetmaker Transition period Ornamented with gilded bronzes such as ribboned lock escutcheons and foliate garland pull rings. Veined white marble top Height: 87 cm; Width: 97 cm; Depth: 51 cm (minor restorations)
