Important old Khorassan Meched wool velvet on cotton foundation.maintenance restorations.Qq oxidation and natural wear.garnet field decorated with polychrome stylized sprigs of flowers and foliage framing a large central rosette with starry flowers inlaid with a polychrome floral wreath on an ivory background forming four spandrels with palmettes and stylized diamond-shaped floral buds.Multiple borders, the main one wide and midnight-blue with cypress interlacing and rows of finely drawn floral bulbs.
