The KTM brand was born in a metal workshop in 1934 under the impetus of Hans Trunkenpolz. Its factories are located in Mattighofen and Salzburg. The company specializes in the manufacture of bicycles, motorcycles and sports cars. Originally, KTM was a locksmith.
But from 1937 onwards, the company turned its attention to the repair of motorcycles and cars.
It then launched its first motorcycle design project. In 1951, it produced the Rotax-powered R 100.
In 1954, it won the Austrian championship in the 125 cm3 class.
The model on offer is an old restoration and will need to be restarted.
