In the 1970s, Italy was an epicenter of motorcycle innovation, and the Lavera 750 GT is perfectly in line with this tradition. Offering pure design and assertive performance, it's powered by a 750 cm³ V-twin engine, designed to rival the greats of the day while retaining a unique character and distinctive style. Embodying the spirit of Italian GTs of the period, this model is the object of a constant quest for mechanical and aesthetic perfection. The model offered here is a 1971 Lavera 750 GT, with a GT-marked frame and matching numbers, guaranteeing the authenticity and integrity of the vehicle. The bike is fitted with Ceriani forks, well known for their build quality and riding precision, and Borani rims, prized for their lightness and robustness. For shock absorbers, the bike benefits from IKON models, offering excellent shock absorption for a pleasant, stable ride. The characteristic details of this 750 GT are also marked by a specific front mudguard, an 18-liter fuel tank for long escapades, and numerous original components that have been carefully maintained, such as the CTEK cable, the battery fastening strap and a new 2018 BOSCH starter relay. The maintenance work carried out recently testifies to the attention paid to this bike: carburetor cleaning, change of seals in August 2018, replacement of the oil strainer and copper washer, as well as a battery secured with the strap in December 2018. We recommend that future buyers carry out the usual restarts due to the immobilization of these machines within the collector's museum.
