The 650 Thunderbird appeared in 1949. It was based on the Speed Twin (500 cm3), from which it took the engine and chassis.
The bike features the famous sliding suspension in the rear hub, and bears the marks of an earlier restoration by our owner.
On display in his private museum, the bike has remained stationary for several years.
It needs to be restarted.
