Kazak Karatchoff CAUCASE in wool velvet on turquoise Champ wool foundations decorated with reserves and compartments of geometrically stylized polychrome flowers, tarantulas and crabs in symmetry framing a large central octagonal ivory medallion inlaid with a second crenellated brick medallion with stylized hooks and motifs reminiscent of those in the stylized reserves. Beautiful balance of two stylized trees in the form of skeletons and fishbones in symmetry.
