LARGE COMMODE
In flamed mahogany with brass banding, opening to three drawers, with fretwork decoration, foliate escutcheons, white marble top (reported at a later date) resting on fluted engaged column uprights terminating in tapered legs ; (restorations, notably the frame of a drawer redone).
Stamped by Ferdinand Bury and JME, cabinetmaker received master in 1774.
Louis XVI period.
