2005 Aston Martin DB9 Volante - Lot 106
2005 Aston Martin DB9 Volante Chassis: SCFAD02AX5GB03525. French registration. - Service history - Nice configuration - Well-known history Contrary to what its name might suggest, the Aston Martin DB9 is not a simple evolution of the DB7, but a completely new model, designed entirely by the brand's styling department. Its transaxle architecture, with the engine set far back and the gearbox positioned between the rear wheels, ensures ideal weight distribution and exemplary driving dynamics. Presented at the Detroit Auto Show in 2004, the convertible version of the DB9 Volante benefits from a body whose torsional rigidity has been increased by 10%, thanks to the use of an aluminum platform reinforced with alloy panels. The model on offer was delivered new in Germany in July 2005 to an entrepreneur with several residences in Europe. The DB9 was soon located in Paris, where it was regularly serviced, notably by Auto-Performance Paris, as well as in Malaga, its owner's second place of residence. With just over 97,000 km to its credit, this DB9 has recently undergone extensive care at Auto-Performance Paris and LDO Racing. It represents a great opportunity to acquire a Grand Tourisme cabriolet with character, combining British refinement and driving pleasure. 2005 Aston Martin DB9 Volante Chassis: SCFAD02AX5GB03525.
