AUBUSSON STYLE
Large wool carpet on cotton backing decorated with a very large central medallion with stylized flower crown, framed by medallion reserves with the coat of arms of France inlaid with fleurs-de-lis, surrounded by two medallions with floral compositions. The four Prussian-blue spandrels are embellished with crenellated acanthus leaves ending in pastel-tone horns of plenty.
The scrolled border forms a beautiful frame and fine balance.
