MANUFACTURE DUC D'ANGOULEME Suite of eleven porcelain plates with painted flowers and gilded borders. Late 18th century. Diam. 25 cm Marks in red on the back "Manufre de Mgr le Duc d'Angoulême à Paris". The Dihl et Guerhard porcelain factory, also known as the "Manufacture du Duc d'Angoulême" or "Manufacture de Bondy" until 1789, then the "Manufacture du Temple", was a porcelain workshop founded in 1781 in Paris on rue de Bondy, and placed under the protection of the Duc d'Angoulême in 1782.
