In the 80s, it competed in hill-climb races throughout south-western France, as well as in the French circuit championship for Group 6 prototypes. It is powered by a prepared Chrysler 2L engine, fitted with two Weber twin-bodies in the front mid-engine position. The rear drivetrain comes from an Alfa Romeo Alfetta, complete with axlebox, autoblocker and inboard discs. Yves Salat was a talented craftsman, and this is no ordinary do-it-yourself project, as it has been professionally assembled. All polyester molds are supplied with the car, together with its FFSA passport dated 1985 listing the events in which it took part in 1986 and 1987 (39 races, including several on circuit). The engine has recently undergone a complete overhaul at the renowned Philippe Chardeau workshop in Montceau les Mines. The bearings are new, as are all the gaskets. Both Weber twin-barrel carburetors are new. The bodywork and running gear have been professionally restored.
