Alexis Constantin was a highly regarded designer, builder and producer of high performance components (including compressors) for the automotive and motorboat industries. He broke several world water speed records between 1955 and 1959. Wearing the number 10, he usually piloted Liuzzi hulls with Peugeot 203 engines, equipped with this rare type of light alloy propeller shaft tunnel with profiled drift, to which a cable gas pedal control is attached.
