Saber of officer of light cavalry.
Brass mounting chased with foliage. Handle covered with basane with filigree. Long-tailed cap with laurel leaves and palmettes. Guard with three branches, two auricles in shuttle and quillon curved towards the point, decorated in continuation. Curved blade with round back, counter-edge and gutter, engraved, gilded and blued to the third of trophies and foliage. Scabbard with two large bracelets decorated with the line, two rings and iron sting.
A.B.E. Restoration period (traces of oxidation on the blade and the scabbard).
