Officer's saber of light cavalry. Ebony handle with oblique stripes. Brass mounting. Oval cap with long tail. Guard with one branch in column, two steel half grooves and curved quillon towards the point boulé. Curved damascus blade with flat back, counter edge and hollow sides. Brass scabbard with two bracelets and two rings. Iron sting. B.E. First Empire period (wear marks at the base of the scabbard).
