Officer's saber of light cavalry hussar.
Handle in squared wood (cracked). Brass mounting. Cap with melon ribs with short skirt. Guard with a round branch with sides, bolted, with two shuttle-like auricles and quillon curved towards the point. Curved blade with flat back, counter edge and hollow sides, engraved in thirds on a gold background with a charging hussar, trophies and foliage. Brass scabbard with two large bracelets and two rings. Iron sting.
A.B.E. First Empire period (traces of use, blows to the scabbard).
