Infantry saber called lighter. Brass handle and frame. One-pronged hilt punched and curved quillon towards the tip. Curved blade with flat back, engraved "Manufture Imple du Klingenthal Février 1812", with counter edge, punched at the heel. Leather scabbard with two brass fittings. Cap with trigger guard. Scarlet tie. A.B.E. First Empire period.
