Officer's saber of light cavalry type 1800.
Brass mounting. Handle in squared ebony. Cap with sides of melon and short skirt with sides. Guard with one branch bolted to its half, with two shuttle-like auricles and curved quillon curved towards the point. Curved blade with flat back, counter-edge and hollow sides, engraved, with remainder of gilding and blued to the third, with decoration of trophies of weapons, trumpets and foliage. Scabbard with two bracelets and two brass rings. Iron sting.
