Bomb, visor and nape of the neck in leather. Crest with feather decoration, side bomb motifs with foliage scrolls, headband decorated with a sun on a radiating background in the figure of King Louis XVIII, surmounted by the motto of the corps "NEC PLURIBUS IMPAR" ("To no one else like") on a cloudy background, surmounted by the royal crown, bosses with a radiating background adorned with a sun motif, chinstraps with scales lined with black cloth and silvered copper rim. Black horsehair caterpillar. White feather plume, (later), with tulip and silver plume holder. Chinstrap attachment cord in silver passementerie. Black patent leather and unbleached canvas headpiece.
