Prussian hussar saber.
Iron mounting. Handle covered with basane. Guard with a branch and two long auricles in shuttle. Flattened quillon curved towards the point. Curved, flat-backed blade, marked "Siebert à Berlin", with counter-edge and hollow sides, engraved on one third of the blade with a charging hussar, "Vincere" banner, moon, stars, trophies, number "FR" under crown and "Vout mori". Heavy scabbard with a leather hollow, two large fittings and two iron splints. Iron bracelets and rings.
A.B.E. End of 18th century, beginning of 19th century (traces and knocks of use, leather of the scabbard posterior).
