Belgian dragon sword. - Lot 2
Belgian dragon sword.
Brass mounting. Handle covered with leather (wear). Cap with long tail. Guard with four branches and half-orifices in baguette with quillons bent towards the point. Long and strong straight blade, with flat back, counter edge and hollow sides, engraved "Oost = Vlaenderen" and foliage. Leather scabbard with a brass ring and iron bolt.
E.M. Belgian Revolution of 1789 against the Austrians. (old leather but posterior).
