1952 Chevrolet Styleline "Deluxe Serial number 2139310 Original French French registration In 1949, Chevrolet, leader of the American market after the Second World War, enters the second part of the XXth century. The firm unveiled its new range, more modern in appearance thanks to the design of Ed Glowacke, but still using the classic but still effective Blue Flame Six engine born in 1928. Available in Special or Deluxe versions, in Styline or Fleetline, the Chevrolets born in 1949 were a great success on the other side of the Atlantic and evolved until 1952 before being replaced in 1953 by a completely new range. This Chevrolet Styline Deluxe was delivered new in France in 1952 as the riveted plate in the engine compartment attests. It is of course equipped with its 3.5L inline six-cylinder engine developing 90 horsepower and a Powerglide automatic transmission. Today, it is in good general condition, the result of an old restoration. Its mechanics has been revised and runs perfectly and starts at a quarter turn. The brakes have been revised.
