1971 FIAT 500 L - Lot 79
1971 FIAT 500 L Serial number : 6064222 Fully restored New mechanics French registration 10 000/12 000 Iconic micro-city car, the Fiat 500 is the mass-produced car par excellence in Italy. The second generation was launched in 1957 and 4,250,000 units were produced. Code name "110", the Nuova Fiat 500 replaces the Topolino whose career began in 1936. From the 2-door sedan, different versions will be added to the range. From the economic version to the sport version, the Fiat 500 will also know the Gardiniera range, like a miniature hunting station wagon. In August 1968, the Italian brand launched its "luxury" version of the 500 that everyone knows today as the Fiat 500 L. Recognizable on the outside thanks to its double-bar chrome bumpers, the 500 L's interior was well modified. On the one hand, the dashboard is covered, on the other hand, the square instrument frame allows to accommodate all the necessary instruments. The upholstery will also undergo some modifications to improve comfort. The car we present for sale is in exceptional condition. Released in 1971, this car has recently been fully restored. Pictures of the restoration (which accompany the car) show that the body has been stripped and completely repainted. The engine has also been completely rebuilt. Today, it starts normally and runs smoothly. The choke is functional. The upholstery is also new. The sunroof works normally. This little Fiat 500 L is an attractive car representing a Dolce Vita period. 1971 FIAT 500 L Serial number : 6064222 Fully restored New mechanics French registration 10 000/12 000 Emblematic micro-city car, the Fiat 500 is the Italian mass production car par excellence.
