OFFICER'S CLOCK - Lot 256
OFFICER'S CLOCK in gilt bronze, richly decorated with berries, foliage and rais de cœur. The enamelled dial with Roman numerals is signed "Aug. Courvoisier et Comp, Chaux de fonds". It stands on four lion-claw feet. Grande sonnerie, petite sonnerie, silence, rappel and réveil Empire period. (restorations, movement revised) Height: 22 cm - Width: 14.5 cm - Depth: 11 cm Courvoisier & Cie active in Paris, La Chaux-de-Fonds and Geneva from 1811 to about 1835.
