1978 TVR 3000 Serial number 4248FM Sunroof... - Lot 84 - Osenat
1978 TVR 3000 Serial number 4248FM Sunroof Very well maintained Collector's registration 15 000/20 000 Little known on our territory, TVRs are enthusiasts' cars as England knows how to produce them so well! Handcrafted in the depths of Hampshire, they were designed for racing. In 1972, a fiberglass body and tubular chassis gave birth to the 3000 M, whose design is based on the main lines of the Vixen and Grantura. The frame was inspired by that developed for the Tuscan V8 S, while the 3.0L Essex V6 engine was borrowed from Ford. The car on offer is in good overall condition and comes in an attractive metallic blue livery with a black vinyl roof. Its current owner acquired it in 2009 on the outskirts of Bristol, before replacing the original 3.0L engine with a prepared version of the Essex V6 increased to 3.1L for a power output of around 170 hp. In addition, the car has been very well maintained, with invoices totalling almost €15,000 since 2009, including bearings, shock absorbers, brakes, clutch, cooling system, installation of a Terratrip... This is a particularly original, high-performance car, which will be noticed for the inimitable sound of its engine and the daring design of its bodywork! 1978 TVR 3000 Serial number 4248FM Sunroof Very well maintained Collector's registration 15 000/20 000 Little known on our territory, TVRs are enthusiasts' cars as England knows how to produce them so well!
