The JAGUAR Mark X remains forever the car of Doctor Müller from the 1966 album L'île Noire in the adventures of Tintin.
The MK X was produced from 1961 to 1964. On October 17, 1961, at the Earls Court Motor Show, Jaguar presented a preview of its brand-new limousine: the magnificent Jaguar MK X. With its royal lineage, the MK X joins the long family of prestige sedans from Jaguar's origins as S.S. Cars Limited. Its magnificent design combines Jaguar expertise, British elegance and state-of-the-art technology. The press is unanimous: this car is the must-have! After all, isn't the Jaguar Mark X the most beautiful limousine built since 1945? Doesn't it represent the quintessence of refinement, discretion, comfort, high technology, sportiness and affordability?
Good soundproofing, precious varnished wood and Connolly leather make for a warm and welcoming interior.
The model we are offering for sale dates from January 1963, and is therefore one of the very last to be produced. Equipped with the desirable 3.8 engine and automatic gearbox, this car was delivered new to France, where it met its first two owners in Paris, before being acquired by the previous owner in March 1965, still registered 4383NE75. This same owner kept it until 2017, when it was acquired by the current owner.
This Jaguar features an early restoration and is in beautiful overall condition, accompanied by an extensive file of invoices (ignition, starter, running gear ...). The test drive revealed a pleasant vehicle with no major faults.
So if you're looking for a beautiful sedan for your long-distance journeys, look no further than this Jaguar.
