PARTLY ORIGINAL EDITION, one of 550 numbered copies on strong vellum. Portrait-frontispiece in colors by Paul-Albert Laurens. This is the second edition of this work, first published in 1895 by the Independent Art Bookstore, ENLARGED WITH 52 NEW PIECES (but with some amputations), all in a revised order and with some changes of detail. AUTOGRAPHIC SENDING FROM PIERRE LOUŸS "To Mr. Ph. Martinon, friendly memory..." This is probably the linguist and translator of Greek Philippe Martinon. Jointly, 2 autograph ff. of Pierre Louÿs, evoking the work of Victor Hugo.
