HANGER BORNE in patinated bronze and gilded and chiseled bronze appliques. The clock is decorated in the lower part with an urn in the antique style flanked by two griffins, the central part of a lyre in the center of two arrows enrubannées. The dial is underlined by two garlands of laurel and topped by a fleuron. Enamelled dial signed Porché in Paris with Roman numerals. Base in sea green marble. The amounts are decorated with caduceus and garlands of laurel. Suspension with wire. First quarter of the XIXth century, in the spirit of Claude Gallé's bronzier H : 37 cm - W : 18 cm - D : 11,8 cm (With its key and its balance) The Mobilier National keeps two identical models, one of which is in the Elysée Palace in the second office of the Emperor.
