WATCH WITH THE MONOGRAM OF THE MARQUIS DE MASSA. Savonnette Chronograph single push-button in pink gold 750/1000, round case, white enamelled dial with indexes Arabic numerals and railway, counter of the permanent seconds at 6 o'clock, counter of the minutes of the chronograph at midday. Hour, quarter and minute repeater. The repeater is activated by the pusher at 3 o'clock and the chronograph by the pusher at 11 o'clock. Mechanical movement with manual winding. Apparent movement, protected by a glass. Opposite, important hand engraving "Marquis de Massa Paris" on the obverse of the second cap in pink gold 750/1000. Case engraved with the number JM (or PM) in a garter, under a marquis crown. Diameter : 54.5 mm Gross weight : 131.37 gr Number : 21377 In its red morocco case, sheathed in burgundy velvet, marked in the lid "G.BERNAND MARSEILLE". Circa 1900. This watch can be attributed to Alexandre-Philippe Régnier, Marquis de Massa (1831-1910), former officer of the Imperial Guard guides and popular playwright.
