SET OF 14 ENGRAVINGS FROM THE FIRST EMPIRE PERIOD The "Collection des portraits de la famille impériale et des souverains ses principaux alliés", a series of portraits representing Napoleon, his family and his allies, published by the Ubicini brothers in Milan and then by Jacques Louis Bance in Paris. The series was advertised in Le Moniteur, April 18, 1810. It was available by subscription at the price of 20 francs per print (40 francs for the proofs before the letter, and 40 francs for the color prints) and gathered portraits made by different engravers. Napoleon was one of the subscribers of the series. All the plates were deposited in the Royal Library of France.
