1970 ALFA ROMEO 1750 GT VELOCE
"Chassis number: 1379324 European circulation title Mechanical restoration The Alfa Romeo Giulia GT went into production in 1963 as a replacement for the Giulietta Sprint with some technical modifications. In terms of aesthetics, it was given a new front end with four headlights and a completely smooth bonnet. The Bertone design gave it a sporty look and made it more contemporary (it was nicknamed the "Bertone coupé"). A few years later, the GT Veloce 1750 was introduced. Its 1750 cc engine, straight out of the Berlina, allowed it to reach a speed of 190 km/h. Its sporty character is accentuated by a doubled braking system and a revised interior with new seats and a new steering wheel. This version is considered by many to be the ultimate Bertone coupe, with a clean, classically styled dashboard and an engine that is always ready to rev. The 1750 GT Veloce will be shown The 1750 GT Veloce would show itself in car races, such as the 9 hours of Kyalami and the 1971 Polish Spring Grand Prix, further enhancing its reputation. The model we are presenting was bought by a Portuguese engineer. Bought in Denmark, the car was sent to Angola where he was working. The car would see Portuguese soil when Angola gained its independence and was sold in the 2000s to a Portuguese doctor who kept it for 12 years. The current owner, who brought the car back to France, had the entire top end of the engine rebuilt 1,400 km ago. It is now ready to take the road. On the body side, the left side of the car has been repainted, leaving a very slight difference with the rest of the car and some rust spots are visible on the driver's side. The upholstery is new. The rest of the interior is in very good condition. This car is worth looking at! "
