"Serial number: S836528BW 3.8L engine no.: VA1183P Desirable coupe version Very good condition 50,000 euros of invoices The Jaguar XK150 was launched in 1957. The general shape of the car is inspired by the XK120 and XK140 versions, but the design is different in many ways. The shape of the car was softened and the windscreen was now a single curved plane, as was the rear window of the coupe. Mechanically, disc brakes were introduced as standard, having been fitted to the Jaguar D-Type at Le Mans in 1954. The steering is rack and pinion as on the 140, the engine is a 3.4L or 3.8L. More than an evolution, the 150 is a modern car, which meets the requirements of the American market, and becomes a grand touring car. Coupes and cabriolets were given leather dashboard covers. The XK150 remained in production until 1961, although very few were produced that year. Its replacement was the large E-Type. During its short life, only 9,382 units of the XK150 were produced. With a reliable engine, modern handling and braking, it is and modern braking, it is usable on today's roads and in today's traffic. With a correctly sized radiator and a large mechanical fan, it does not suffer from any cooling problems. Due to its simple design (a rigid rear axle) it is therefore relatively inexpensive to maintain. This beautiful XK150 FHC (Fixed Head Coupe) comes in a white paint scheme that is unusual for this type of car, making it stand out from the rest. The bodywork is in good general condition. The chrome is sparkling. The cream-coloured interior is also in good condition and invites you to sit behind the wheel. The leather upholstery has a slight patina. Under the bonnet, the 3.8L six-cylinder engine works as usual. It is coupled to an automatic transmission. Between 2009 and 2022, the car has received almost 50 000€ of work. Ready to hit the road, this piece of Jaguar history will please its future owner. "
