IMPERATRESS JOSEPHINE Beautiful and fine embroidery, in strong relief, with the arms of Empress Josephine, azure with the imperial eagle. On a background of a large imperial mantle, surmounted by a closed crown and topped by a globe with a cross. The scepter and the hand of justice reproducing the honors of Charlemagne used during the coronation. The mantle of Gules, lined with ermine proper, semi of golden bees and fringe of the same carries a braid of vine leaves of clusters. Threads of silk, velvet, moire, canetille and golden threads. 17 x 15 cm Presented on a black velvet background bordered by a golden rod. B.E. 19th century
