PROCLAMATION OF THE RETURN OF THE ISLAND OF ELB (1815) Poster with heading to the Eagle by Besnard. In Golfe Juan first March 1815. 53 x 42 cm. A.B.E. (Bends, wear on the edges, a small hole). It is the famous proclamation made on the return from Elba. The Emperor announces there : "The victory will march in step, the eagle, with the national colors, will fly from bell tower to bell tower, until the towers of Notre-Dame."
