RUMI 1956 125 Sport
Serial number: 23686 CGF - no key Original condition, to be restarted Achille Rumi created the family foundry in 1914 in Bergamo, Italy. Initially specializing in bronze and aluminum casting, the company mainly worked for the railroads, navy and aviation, which is why there is an anchor and an airplane wing on the logo. Then in 1949 was unveiled the first Rumi motorcycle designed around a surprising horizontal air-cooled engine. The 125 Sport arrived in 1953, it was very beautiful and very fast with its 2-stroke twin, it developed 7.2 CV at 6,500 rpm and received a 4-speed gearbox for a total weight of 95 kilos. Power not so impressive nowadays, it was excellent in the 50s, with a top 100km/h and a raging temper this Rumi was more efficient than many 250s.
