THE ABBE MISSET - " The abbot Misset " Photograph of the abbot in full length at the end of his life 11 x 6 cm. -Visiting card " L'abbé Misset ancien directeur de l'école Lhomond, chanoine honoraire de Châlons sur Marne 4 rue de Copenhague Paris 8e " with annotation in pen " Collecta sunt cum labore servanda sunt cum amore " and dated 19 November 1918. History: Eugène MISSET (1850-1920), native of Vitry and former professor of the school of Carmes in Paris, he constituted an important collection on the imperial family, which he bequeathed to Prince Victor. Canon at the military camp of Chalons, he was for a time confessor of the imperial Prince. After 1870, he began to assemble an important collection which he bequeathed to the imperial family. His collection of photographs was acquired by the State.
